I am starting a support group for Caregivers. This group is for people who provide care and love to an elderly person. We will be meeting the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month at St Pauls Catholic Church N McKean Street Butler. Our first meeting is April 11 from 6pm to 8pm in Glenn Hall. I have speakers lined up to talk on informative subjects pertaining to caretaking! But am looking for vendors or organizations that would love to be part of a "Pamper the Caregiver Day". People who provide caregiving have little or no time for themselves. I am looking for businesses, organizations or volunteers who would provide for free a day of service to caregivers. I am looking for hairstylists who might be willing to do facials, manicures, pedicures, I am looking for someone to provide aromatherapy goody bags, someone to do massages, someone who would speak on the importance of stress relief and a nutritionist to help share ideas and provide healthy snacks. Just a day of fun for these wonderful people! As of now I have speakers lined up till Wednesdays in June but would consider asking for a Saturday for the Day of Pampering!
