The immediate and extended family of Ed Welter would like to say thank you to all who supported us by their love during our time of loss. The food, cards, personal gifts, flowers, chimes, throws, masses, monetary donations, shared memories and hugs are consoling and uplifting as we begin our grief journey. A special thank you to the caring nursing staff of 5 main, 6 main and ICU at Butler Hospital, as they not only cared for Ed, but were compassionate and caring to the many family members that visited. We are so blessed to have a community hospital with such great professionals. A note of thanks to the physicians and respiratory therapists who diligently treated Ed throughout his many bouts of illness.

A special thanks to Fathers Steve Neff and Kevin McKnight for the comforting funeral service as well as the other priests and Sister Sandra, who visited, prayed, and annointed Ed during the past several months. The spiritual peace we all felt at his passing was a source of comfort.

Thanks to Geibel Funeral Home Staff for accommodating the large wake and easing our concerns, your kind service will be remembered. Blessed are they who comfort the sorrowing as they shall be consoled.
