SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:

Jessica Elizabeth Artana, 31, of Natrona Heights, Allegheny County, waived to court charges of robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery, filed Feb. 12.

Arthur Anthony Pillart III, 31, of Sarver waived to court charges of robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery, filed Feb. 11.

BUTLER TWP — District Judge Kevin O'Donnell recently heard these cases:Levan C. Adkins, 23, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of harassment, filed Jan. 9 by township police. Adkins was ordered to pay $207.50 in fines and court costs.Louis A. Bennetti, 35, of Butler waived to court two counts of possessing child pornography, and charges of disseminating photos or video of child sex acts, displaying obscene/sexual materials and possessing a small amount of marijuana, filed Jan. 24 by state police,Brandie D. Blystone, 21, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of false reports to law enforcement authorities, filed Jan. 27 by township police. Blystone was ordered to pay $569 in fines and court costs.Melinda J. Claypoole, 22, of Butler waived to court charges of retail theft, attempting to commit theft by deception, conspiracy to commit theft by deception, receiving stolen property, driving with a suspended license, filed Jan. 27 by township police.Tyler J. Evans, 26, of Butler waived to court a charge of retail theft, filed Feb. 8 by township police.Ray P. Gos, 63, of Slippery Rock waived to court a charge of bad checks, filed Nov. 9 by township police.Thomas A. Manion II, 41, of Pittsburgh waived to court charges of retail theft, conspiracy to commit retail theft and receiving stolen property, filed Oct. 20 by township police.Ryan C. Mullen, 25, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia, filed Nov. 28 by township police. Mullen was ordered to pay $664.50 in fines and court costs.Ross C. Newell, 24, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, accidents involving injury, resisting arrest, hit-and-run, following too closely to another vehicle, driving at an unsafe speed, abandoning a vehicle on the highway and failing to give information or render aid after an accident, filed Jan. 10 by township police.John L. Shilling, 51, of Butler waived to court charges of terroristic threats, threatening to use weapons of mass destruction and harassment, filed Jan. 17 by township police.Clecy E. Thompson, 22, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, driving on the wrong side of the road, reckless driving, hit-and-run and failing to immediately notify police of an accident, filed Jan. 11 by township police.Joshua S. Young, 25, of Butler was held for court on charge of delivering a controlled substance, possessing with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possessing a controlled substance, filed Nov. 15 by the Butler County Drug Task Force.

SLIPPERY ROCK — District Judge Tim Shaffer recently heard these cases:Ryan P. Bowers, 20, of North Liberty was held for court on two counts each of robbery and terroristic threats, and charges of theft, receiving stolen property. simple assault and reckless endangerment, filed Feb. 4 by state police.Nikola J. Skrak, 26, of Prospect waived to court charges of driving under the influence, intending to possess a controlled substance, driving with a suspended license and failing to keep right, filed Jan. 14 by state police.

CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Jedidiah A. Burns, 30, of Slippery Rock waived to court charges of driving under the influence, simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, defiant trespass, public drunkenness, disregarding traffic lanes, reckless driving, traveling on cultivated land, careless driving, an open container violation and not wearing a seat belt, filed Feb. 12.Michael Demayo, 70, of West Sunbury waived to court four counts each of forgery, deceptive or fraudulent business practices, false swearing, unsworn falsification and title violations, five counts of tampering with records, nine counts of offenses related to title, 10 counts of improper transfer of ownership of a vehicle, six counts of tampering with identification numbers of plates and seven counts of boating offenses, filed Dec. 21.Brittany Everetts, 22, of Butler waived to court charges of theft, conspiracy of theft and receiving stolen property, filed Dec. 23.Michael Marcucci, 26, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, disregarding traffic lanes, careless driving and not wearing a seat belt, filed Jan. 18.Raymond N. Wyant Jr., 43, of Parker waived to court charges of theft, conspiracy of theft and receiving stolen property, filed Dec. 23.
