Herb, et al:
I understand the legal distinction you're drawing between the US Congress and our own General Assembly, but I tend to find legality secondary to practicality. Are really you arguing that it's a good idea for our state government's to start adopting formal trappings of Christianity - or any other religion - just because they legally might be able to get away with it?
