SLIPPERY ROCK — Joy Ruff, economic development community outreach manager for the Marcellus Shale Coalition, will deliver Slippery Rock University's School of Business next “Success Starts Here” lecture at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Advanced Technology and Science Hall on SRU's campus.The lecture will revolve around opportunities related to Marcellus Shale natural gas. The free, ongoing series focuses on successful regional businesses as a way of encouraging students and others to consider starting businesses or pursing careers in Western Pennsylvania.Founded in 2008, the Marcellus Shale Coalition is an organization committed to the responsible development of natural gas from the Marcellus Shale geological formation and the enhancement of the region's economy.
