FOXBURG, Clarion County — Parents whose child will enter Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District kindergarten this fall should contact the elementary school office in Foxburg before April 1 to schedule registration April 19 or 20.

Parents who need a registration form may call the school at 724-659-3555 or toll free at 888-464-3292 to request one.

To enter kindergarten in the fall, a child must be 5 years old before Aug. 27 and must have these immunizations:

Measles-mumps-rubella (MMR), two shots with the first after a child is 1; Diptheria-tetanus (DT), four shots with the fourth after a child is 4; Polio (OPV/IPV), three doses; Hepatitis B (HBV), three shots appropriately spaced, which may take seven months; and Varicella, two shots or the written date of the child’s chicken pox.

The district plans to offer more information during the first week of April.
