Butler's Levi Leyland swims to victory in the 100 butterfly Thursday night. The Golden Tornado swim teams scored a sweep of Shaler.

Jessica Aulicino hit a pair of clutch free throws with four seconds remaining to give Freeport a 39-37 upset win over Ford City Thursday night.

The free throws culminated a fourth quarter rally for the Yellowjackets (8-11, 5-7) that upended the Sabers (15-4, 9-3).

Jessica McFadden led Freeport with 16 points. Aulicino added 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Butler's boys and girls squads improved to 8-0 on the season and clinched a playoff spot by sweeping North Allegheny Wednesday.The teams have also qualified for the Western Pennsylvania Regionals, slated in March.Butler's boys won, 5-2, behind a 638 series by Brandt Fleming and a 593 by Jacob Cookson.
