SR's France nabs 1st place
Slippery Rock High junior swimmer Zack France posted a first-place time of 5 minutes, 16.22 seconds in the boys 500-yard freestyle at the Iroquois Invitational Saturday in Erie.
France's effort was over 14 seconds better than second-place finisher Mike O'Polka of Franklin.
The Rockets placed fourth out of 12 teams.
