Barbara Rahiser

Barbara Ann Rahiser, 70, of Butler died early Monday morning at the Lowrie House.

She was born in Oil City, Venango County, on Aug. 18, 1942, and was a daughter of the late George and Arlene Smith Barrett.

A homemaker, Barbara also had formerly worked as an accountant for the Craftsman-Ziegler Printing Co. and later as the payroll and personnel clerk for the John R. Ellison Plumbing Contracting Co.

She was a member of the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler and the St. Paul's Catholic Women and Christian Mothers organization.

She was the widow of Wilbert C. Rahiser Jr., who died Jan. 27, 2007. She also was preceded in death by two brothers.

She is survived by a number of cousins.

RAHISER — Friends of Barbara Ann Rahiser, who died Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler. Entombment will be at the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.St. Paul's Catholic Women and Christian Mothers will recite the rosary at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
