Robert J. Bryant
Robert J. Bryant, 72, of Butler passed away at 1:37 a.m. Tuesday at Sugar Creek Rest in Worthington.
He was born Dec. 14, 1939, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late William and Eda (Milkey) Bryant.
He was a retired mechanic from the Port Authority. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching movies, woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Clara (Showers) Bryant of Butler; two daughters, Laura (Dave) Bloom of Bairdford and Lonie (Christopher) Compton of Emlenton; two sons, Mark (Barb) Bryant of Arizona and Daniel (Abigail) Bryant of Hawaii; 11 grandchildren; and three sisters, Carol (Ken) Waldorf of Ohio, Maryland (Art) Barber of Ohio and Sue (Chuck) Hull of Virginia Beach, Va.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Colleen Vasco; a grandson, and a brother, Bill Bryant.
BRYANT — Memorial services for Robert J. Bryant, who passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, will be at the Butler Assembly Church, Route 422, Butler, at 11 a.m. Thursday.
