Kivlan, Mefford
Laura Kivlan of Gibsonia and Jason Mefford of East Butler were united in marriage Oct. 7 at the Timberhouse at Rolling Acres in Beaver Falls. The Rev. Ben Kivlan officiated. A reception followed at the Timberhouse.
The bride is the daughter of Rick and Gayle Kivlan of Gibsonia. Parents of the bridegroom are Tom and Lori Maihle of East Butler and Robert Mefford of California.
The matron of honor was Julie Jones of Cranberry Township. Bridesmaids included Jaimie Mefford of Harrisburg and Madison Cornell of Florida.
The flower girls were Hannah Jones and Morgan and Lindsay Kivlan.
Performing the duties of best man was Matt Jones of Cranberry Township. Groomsmen included Joe Palermo of Cranberry Township and Bill Kuhnert of Slippery Rock.
The ring bearer was John Moschitta.
The bride is employed by Hance Elementary School.
The bridegroom is employed by CMC Impact Metals.
Following a honeymoon trip to Riviera Maya in Cancun, Mexico, the couple is making their home in Slippery Rock.
