Georgia V. Crawford, 98, of Forward Township died Sunday afternoon at the LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born in McDonald, Pa., on Oct. 2, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Gabriel and Augusta Ashworth Lawson. She was raised in Rochester, Pa.

A homemaker, Mrs. Crawford was a member of the Mars United Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Judy Burke of Warrenton, Va.; a son, Timothy C. Crawford and his wife, Ruth, of Mars; a daughter-in-law, Barbara K. Crawford of Mars; her grandson, Mark Thomas Crawford and his wife, Janene, of Mentor, Ohio; and two great-granddaughters, Lauren and Spencer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. Crawford, who died in 1973; a son, Ernest T. Crawford, who died Oct. 18, 2012; and her siblings, Ernest, Ethel, Beulah, Florence, Edith and Grace.

CRAWFORD — Friends of Georgia V. Crawford, who died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.Services will be in the Mars United Presbyterian Church, 232 Crowe Ave. Mars, at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev.
