CRANBERRY TWP — The American Heart Association, Beaver and Butler division, will host its annual heart ball Feb. 18 at the Pittsburgh Marriott North.

This year’s theme is “Dancing with the Docs” with six physicians competing in a choreographed ballroom-style dance contest.

The black-tie affair will include a cocktail reception, dinner, silent and live auctions, and dancing to the Groove Doctors. Master of ceremonies will be Bob Bruce, Integrity Wealth Consulting, a former WPXI anchor.

Co-chairmen are Dr. Richard Begg, Heart & Vascular Center of Heritage Valley Health System, and Dr. Dean Wolz, chief of Heart & Vascular Services, Butler Health System.

During the event, an Open Your Heart special appeal will be made to improve the health of American children.
