Elizabeth D. 'Liz' Cherry
Elizabeth D. “Liz” Cherry, 83, of Cranberry Township came into eternal rest on Wednesday while at Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.
Liz was born Oct. 31, 1929, in Greenville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Rev. Chester Monroe Davis and Dortha Arlouine Gelfius Davis.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved husband of 63 years, Dick Cherry; her sons, Mark Davis Cherry and his wife, Beverly Meyer, and Christopher John Cherry and his husband, Steven Brodd; her daughter, Lisa Dawn Ferguson and her husband, the Rev. Dennis J. Ferguson; and her three loving granddaughters, Julia, Amanda and Laura Ferguson.
In addition to her parents, Liz was preceded in death by a brother, John Monroe Davis, and a sister, Marty Valance.
