Frank Bowers

Frank Bowers, 83, of Middlesex Township, Valencia, died Friday evening at the LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

He was born in Ross Township on April 27, 1928.

He was a millwright for the Machinist's Union Local 2235.

Frank was a member of the Crossroads Presbyterian Church in Gibsonia, the North Hills Lodge F. & A.M. and the Syria Shrine and Consistry.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, and a member of the Bakerstown American Legion and of the Butler VFW.

Surviving are his wife, Sara Wilson Bowers, who he married on April 27, 1951, a daughter, Debbie LeRoy (Larry) of Cranberry Township, and two sons, Frank Bowers Jr. (Marjorie) of Gibsonia and Robert Bowers of Penn Township.

Frank was the grandfather of Frank, Jennifer, Emily, Mike and Kelly, the great grandfather of Evan and Maura, and a brother, Ralph Bowers of Indiana.
