David Lyle Jackson
David Lyle Jackson, 65, of McKean Township, Erie County, died Saturday at the Golden Living Care Center.
He was born in Butler, July 10, 1946, the son of the late Roland and Mary Jane (Fink) Jackson.
David was a graduate of Karns City High School. After high school, he graduated from Grove City College with a bachelor of arts degree.
David worked at National Fuel for more than 28 years, retiring as a supervisor a few years ago.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Herman Richard “Ricky” Jackson, who died many years ago.
Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Ann (Brink) Jackson; two sons, David Jackson and his wife, Alison, of Penn Hills and Thomas Jackson and his wife, Melissa, of Charlotte, N.C.; a sister, Diane McGarvey and her husband, Brian, of Chicora; a brother, John Jackson and his wife, Victoria, of Karns City; two grandchildren, Nathan and Abigail Jackson; a niece, Lauren McGarvey; and four nephews, Eric Jackson, and Aaron, Ethan and Evan McGarvey.
