Delilah F. 'Dee' Kingston Mickley

Delilah F. “Dee” Kingston Mickley, 94, of Ellwood City passed away Tuesday at Orchard Manor in Grove City.

Born Jan. 21, 1918, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Edna May (Marshall) Kingston.

Dee was a 1936 graduate of Ellwood City High School, now Lincoln High School. She was a former member of the Jackson Grange and the National Campers and Hikers Association. She was a member of AARP. During her free time, she enjoyed sewing, quilting and reading, but above all, cherished the time spent with her family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her five children, Arlene Ann Emery of Volant, Linda Kay Fleeger and her husband, Ronald, of Virginia, Sarah May Burrows and her husband, Thomas, of Portersville, Howard C. Mickley Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Plain Grove and Robert E. Mickley and his wife, Marlene, of New Springfield, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard C. Mickley Sr.; her son, Terry Lee Mickley; her three sisters, Dorothy, Myrtle and Evelyn; and her brother, Giles.

Dee's family will welcome friends from noon until the time of a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, 219 E.
