Francis R. 'Chug' Giesler
Francis R. “Chug” Giesler, 75, of Weedville, Pa., formerly of Cabot, passed away Friday at the Elk Regional Health Center.
Born March 23, 1937, in Marwood, he was the son of Albert “Singer” and Frieda K. (Lang) Giesler.
Francis was a graduate of Winfield High School. He worked for Moonlight Mushroom. He enjoyed playing his guitar, hunting and antiquing.
Surviving are his loving wife, Lorraine (Allison) Giesler, who he married June 6, 1996; his son, Christy Hunter Giesler; his sisters, Glenda Giesler and Karen (Tom) Eurich; his stepchildren, Chad (Sheryl) Stepp, Lori (Tony) Gehenio and Max (Dawn) Stepp; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne and Daryl Giesler.
GIESLER — Friends of Francis R. “Chug” Giesler, who passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, were received Sunday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home with the Rev. Barry Keurulainen officiating.
