Rebecca Christie, formerly of Hooker, was awarded the 2011 State Employee of the Year by the Massachusetts Providers Council for her outstanding excellence in the field of developmental disabilities.Christie is a 1972 graduate of Moniteau High School and a 1977 graduate of Clarion University.She received a paralegal certificate from North Shore Community College in 2002 and a juris doctor from the Massachusetts School of Law in 2006.Christie is employed as a service coordinator for the Department of Developmental Services and a paralegal for the Law Office of J.F. Foley, P.C. in Salem, Massachusetts.She is the daughter of Bertha McKinney.
