Snodgrass, West key Tornado
Nate Snodgrass and Cody West combined for 50 points to pace the Butler boys basketball team to a 65-51 win over Eau Gallie (Fla.) on Wednesday in the first round of the KSA Holiday Tournament held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
Snodgrass tallied 28 points and nine assists, while West drilled seven 3-pointers on his way to 22 points in the victory.
The Tornado sparked the win by jumping out to a 21-7 advantage after the first quarter.
Sequoia (Calif.) defeated the Butler junior varsity team by a 43-40 margin. Zack Neudorfer led the Tornado with 14 points, while Keenan Krause added 11.
