Mary C. Emminger

Mary C. Emminger, 90, of Chicora died at 4:15 a.m. Saturday at the Chicora Medical Center.

Miss Emminger was born in Donegal Township, March 15, 1921. She was the daughter of Joseph and Rosie Matthews Emminger.

She was a Roman Catholic. In her earlier years, she attended the St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Sugarcreek Township.

In her earlier years, Miss Emminger had worked at the Butler Shirt Factory.

Since 1965, Miss Emminger lived and worked in Indianapolis, Ind. She returned to Chicora in the early 1990s.

She enjoyed embroidery and playing bingo and cards and embroidery.

She is survived by a brother-in-law, Paul Neff of Chicora, and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Paul Emminger; and three sisters, Margaret Marshall, Rose Marie Neff and JoAnne Thompson.

<B>EMMINGER </B>— A blessing and committal service for Mary C. Emminger, who died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at <B>Hile Funeral Home of Chicora</B>, 339 Chicora Fenelton Road, Chicora, with the Rev. Steven V. Neff, pastor of the St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church, Butler, officiating.
