Theda Magill Taylor

Theda Magill Taylor, 95, of Zelienople passed away Thursday while under the care of Passavant Retirement Community, Zelienople.

Born May 24, 1916, in Zelienople, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Blanche Henshaw.

Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Harmony Zelienople United Methodist Church where she was a former member of the church women's association.

She was a former bookkeeper for Brennan Builders.

Mrs. Taylor enjoyed baking, gardening, cooking, spending time with her family and watching her son, Jim, in stock car races. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, Arthur Taylor.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her daughter, Patricia Andrew and her husband, Thomas, of Harmony; one son, James Magill and his wife, Peggy, of Zelienople; two sisters, Betty Hart of Zelienople and Clara Marburger and her husband, John, of Evans City; four grandchildren, Jim and Michael Magill, Tom Andrew and Lisa Julius; six great-grandchildren, Brandon Magill, Eli and Reid Andrew, and Zachary, Matt and Alex Julius.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Blair Magill, who died in 1970; her second husband, Arthur Taylor; and two brothers, Thomas and Daniel Henshaw.

<B>TAYLOR</B> — The family of Theda Magill Taylor, who died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. John K. Jefferis officiating. Burial will be in the English Lutheran Church Cemetery, Zelienople.The family suggests memorial donations may be made to HZUMC building fund, 123 N.
