Virginia A. Bicker, 73, of Cabot lost a long battle with multiple myeloma and went home today to be with her Lord.

Born Sept. 6, 1938, in Punxsutawney, she lived her early years with her nine brothers and sisters in Valier, Jefferson County.

On Dec. 8, 1962, she married the love of her life, Ronald D. Bicker. Within the past month, they celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary.

Virginia spent her working career as an activities director with Concordia Lutheran Ministries. She was known for the kindness and dignity with which she treated all residents. An active member of the Zion United Methodist Church, Virginia lived her life with a positive attitude and a happy smile.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald, who will miss her dearly. Virginia also is survived by two children, Rhonda (Mark) Adamovits of Columbus, Ohio, and Alan (Susan) Bicker of Gibsonia. Additionally, she loved her three grandchildren, Noah, Megan and Ella Bicker, all from Gibsonia.

Her living siblings will miss her as well, Richard (Gerry) Hall of Butler, Wilbert (Priscilla) Hall of Freeport, Nancy (Frank) Stowers of Lower Burrell and Marilyn Carner of Cheswick.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert Victor Hall and Helen Elizabeth Ott Hall, and siblings, Ronald Hall, Fred Hall, Robert Hall, Martha Bair and Mary Helgert.

<B>BICKER — </B>Friends of Virginia A. Bicker, who died today, Dec. 15, 2011, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, Saxonburg. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Zion United Methodist Church, Sarver.Memorial donations may be made to the Zion United Methodist Church, Sarver, PA 16055.
