Ellis W. Cousins, 73, formerly of Butler, died Tuesday morning at his home in Hookstown in Beaver County with family at his side.

Born July 23, 1938, in Butler, he was the son of the late Lorrie and Elizabeth (Sweeney) Cousins.

Mr. Cousins had worked as a welder and electrician at the Beaver Valley Power Plant in Shippingport and was a member of the IBEW.

Surviving are his wife, Janet L. (Delridge) Cousins; two sons, Steven Wayne Cousins of Sunbury, Northumberland County, and Eric and his wife, Jamie, Cousins of Georgetown, Pa.; and a daughter, Lori Iman and her husband, Richard Rickert, of Milton, Pa. Also surviving are four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

<B>COUSINS</B> — As per the wishes of Ellis W. Cousins, who died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011, cremation has taken place and there are no services.Memorials can be made to the donor's favorite charity in his name.The family is being served by <B>MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME</B>, Hookstown.
