Brink

Olive F. Brink, 85, of Saxonburg passed peacefully Thursday at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born Dec. 16, 1925, in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of Joseph Baechtel and Ida Stepp Baechtel.

Olive was a member of the Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church and had many memorable times attending events at the Saxonburg Senior Center.

She enjoyed a wide variety of craft projects and operated a ceramic shop out of her home. She passed along a love for painting to her many students who came from all over the Butler area to enjoy this craft.

Surviving are two sons, Charles H. (Billie) Brink of Butler and Larry L. “L.B,” (Susan) Brink of Sarver; three grandchildren, Windy (Lt. Col. Eric) Jilson, Wayne Brink (Kim Rodgers) and Douglas C. (Kayla) Brink; and four great-grandsons, Devyn, Tristan and Ayden Jilson and Connor Brink.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Harry T. Brink, who died Jan. 12, 1990.

<B>BRINK</B> — Friends of Olive F. Brink, who died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, Saxonburg. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Brewer officiating.
