Henrietta C. Herrit

Henrietta C. Herrit, 89, of Butler passed away Monday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Butler, Jan. 23, 1922, and was the daughter of the late Henry and Charlotte Leroy Gall.

She was a homemaker and formerly was employed at the A&P store on South Main Street.

Henrietta was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.

Surviving are two sons, Paul F. Herrit Jr. and his wife, Ilean, of Butler and Gary L. Herrit and his wife, Barbara, of Butler; one daughter, Constance Pannier of Butler; three brothers, Albert Gall and his wife, Jacqueline, of Butler, Marcel “Mickey” Gall and his wife, Genevieve, of Butler and Donald Gall and his wife, Judy, of Butler; two grandchildren, Desiree Atkinson and her husband, Bill, of Butler and Joshua Herrit and his wife, Melissa, of Butler; and a number of great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul F. Herrit Sr., who passed away Nov. 8, 1991.

HERRIT — Friends of Henrietta C. Herrit, who died Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, will be received in the

Martin Funeral Home, Butler, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Alden Towberman, pastor of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Gouenwald Cemetery, Summit Township.Information also is available at www.martinfh.net.
