John J. Schwarzmeier

John J. Schwarzmeier, 77, of Pittsburgh died Monday.

He was the loving husband and best friend of Patrice Kight Schwarzmeier; and father of Diane (David) Fahrner, Charlotte, Janice, Frank (Holly) and the late JoAnne Ridinger; stepfather of Gregory Kight, Sheila (Robert Keller) and Pamela (Robert) Tarantine. He also is survived by 20 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren. He was the brother of Frank, Rita Salvini, MaryAnn Fazio, Patricia Watson, James, Catherine and the late Barbara Salvini. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

John was a Pittsburgh police officer for 21 years. He was the longtime, proud owner of the Inn-Termission Lounge on the South Side.

He was a member of the Cranberry Elks and was a gourmet cook and an avid golfer.
