John N. Loomis

Loomis

John N. Loomis, 46, of New Sewickley Township, Beaver County, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday in the comfort of his home.

Born April 26, 1965, in West Cavina, Calif., he was the son of Arthur and Alice (Teets) Loomis of Rochester.

John was a 1983 graduate of Freedom High School.

For 25 years, he worked for Traco. Most recently, he was employed by DiTech in Evans City.

He was a member of the Sons of the Legion Post 512 in Unionville, Beaver County.

John enjoyed cookouts with his family, the Steelers and playing pool.

He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

He is survived by his two loving daughters, Breanne Loomis and Dalanie Jo Loomis, both of Butler; three brothers, Christopher Loomis and his wife, Linda, of Monaca, James Loomis and his wife, Cindy, of Cranberry Township and Kenneth Loomis of Lake Worth, Fla.; two sisters, Victoria Loomis of Carnegie and Penelope DeSanzo of New Sewickley Township; and many nephews, nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Art and Doris Loomis, and his maternal grandparents, Paul and Belle Teets.

LOOMIS — The family of John N. Loomis, who died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at

Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at the St. Gregory Catholic Church. Friends, please meet at the church.
