Clarence L. Dietrich, 81, of Portersville went home to be with the Lord Wednesday surrounded by his family who loves him very, very much.

He was born July 26, 1930, in Butler, to the late Harry B. Dietrich and Myrtle (Rankin) Dietrich.

Mr. Dietrich owned and operated the C. Dietrich Water Well Service for more than 40 years.

He was a member of the Homeacre Chapel.

Clarence enjoyed camping, traveling and was a talented musician.

Mr. Dietrich is survived by his wife of 60 years, Emma L. (McCall) Dietrich, who he married June 30, 1951; four daughters, Doris Burd of Portersville, Kathy Salkeld of Cabot, Marian Sanders of Butler and Shirleen Fishel of New Port Richey, Fla.; one son, Clarence L. “Sonny” Dietrich of Portersville; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, his parents, four brothers and three sisters.

<B>DIETRICH</B> — A celebration of the life of Clarence L. Dietrich, who died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011. will be Saturday from 1 to to 4 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Prospect, 115 Church St., Prospect, PA 16052.Arrangements are being handled by <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, Butler.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
