SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:

Steven M. Frey, 22, of Butler waived to court a charge of possessing a small amount of marijuana, filed Aug. 17 by state police.

Robert J. Guthrie, 28, of Sarver waived to court charges of possessing a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, filed Aug. 30 by Saxonburg police.

Jason R. Zang, 22, of Evans City waived to court charges of fleeing or attempting to elude police, reckless endangerment, reckless driving and driving at an unsafe speed, filed Aug. 26 by the Butler County Sheriff's Office.

SLIPPERY ROCK — District Judge Tim Shaffer recently heard these cases filed by state police:Christopher T. Chase, 24, of Prospect waived to court charges of burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, trespass, theft and criminal mischief, filed Sept. 24.Justin R. Hilliard, 21, of Prospect waived to court charges of burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, trespass, theft and criminal mischief, filed Sept. 24.Jason P. Williams, 38, of Slippery Rock waived to court charges of simple assault and harassment, filed Oct. 10.

CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Jason C. Blystone, 37, of Butler was held for court on charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, filed Aug. 18.Laura Calderone, 29, of Emlenton, Venango County, was held for court on charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, and possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, filed June 6.Larry W. Garvin, 60, of Butler waived to court charges of stalking, loitering and prowling at night, and harassment, filed Sept. 6.Dakota Hinchberger, 19, of Slippery Rock pleaded guilty to a charge of false identification to police, filed Sept. 23. Hinchberger was ordered to pay $314.50 in fines and court costs.Caroline Johnson, 38, of Butler was held for court on charges of simple assault and harassment, filed Aug. 25.Joseph Kane, 46, of Parker was held for court on charges of simple assault and harassment, filed Aug. 25.Ronald L. Snyder, 31, of Transfer, Mercer County, waived to court charges of DUI, speeding, a lane violation, not signing his vehicle registration card and an open container violation, filed Aug. 30.Jerad C. Soose, 26, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, loitering and prowling at night, driving with a suspended license, a lane violation and careless driving, filed Sept. 14.
