BUTLER TWP — The four candidates for Butler County commissioner will speak Thursday at a forum at the Succop Theater on the Butler County Community College campus.

The forum, which will start at 6:30 p.m., is sponsored by the Legislative Action Committee of the Butler County Chamber of Commerce.

Democratic candidates Jerry Johnston and Jim Eckstein and Republican candidates Dale Pinkerton and William McCarrier will participate.

George Brown, a professor and chairman of the department of political science at Slippery Rock University, will be the moderator for the event.
