Knoch girls tennis sweeps
The Knoch girls tennis team received victories from both doubles duos — Abby Conlon/Alyssa King and Katie King/Patricia Pivaronas — in a 5-0 blanking of host Highlands Wednesday afternoon.
The Knights improved to 11-4 overall and 10-1 in Section 3-AA.

Butler 4, Seneca Valley 1 — Courtney Gallagher, Laura Brestensky and Abbey Turner swept singles play for the Tornado.

<B>Karns City 4, Forest Area 0</B> — Breann Wood scored two goals and Emily Olszak added a goal and two assists as the Gremlins put out the Fires with another shutout.Karns City (11-0-1) still has not surrendered a goal this season.<B>Hampton 4, Butler 0 — </B>The Golden Tornado slipped to 1-10 overall, 0-8 in section play. Butler hosts Pine-Richland today.
<B>Erie First 8, First Baptist Christian 2 (boys soccer) — </B>Matt Cumberland scored two goals and Tommy Barnhart added an assist in a losing cause.<B>First Baptist Christian 3, Erie First 2 (girls volleyball) — </B>Heather Johnson had 19 service points, Noelle Garrison nine kills, five aces and a block. Hildi Burleigh had six assists.
Butler (5-7) finished the season with a 236-242 win over Seneca Valley.Zack Clark led the Tornado with a 46 while Corey Pizor, Rich Camissa, Josh Tilko and Zach Folk each managed a 47.
