Mary E. Micon, 89, of Cranberry Township died Thursday at UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCandless Township.

Born June 19, 1922, in Niagara Falls, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy Chapman.

Mrs. Micon enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She was the beloved mother of Debra E. (Scott) Horan of Cranberry Township and Robert E. (Mary Lou) Micon of Kennedy Township. She also is survived by six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward W. Micon on Jan. 6, 2008.
