Donald E. Timco, 79, of Hilliards passed away Wednesday morning at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

Born in Pittsburgh, June 7, 1932, he was the son of the late John and Virginia Breedlove Timco.

He married Janet Burns Timco on June 28, 1957, and she survives.

Donald was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean War and was discharged in 1954. He was a member of the VFW Post 7073 of Parker as well as a member of the American Legion Post 0636 in Foxburg.

Mr. Timco was employed by U.S. Steel from 1951 to 1957. He then later worked for Bracken Construction as a heavy equipment operator, where he was a member of Operators Engineer Local 66 for 40 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Cindy Lott and her fiance, Rex Barnett, of Hilliards; one son, Kelly Timco and his wife, Kelly, of Sylvia, N.C.; one granddaughter, Clarissa Lott; two sisters, Geraldine Gamble of Parker and Margaret (Arthur) Montleone of Butler; and two brothers, Edward (Betty) Timco and Robert (Nancy) Timco.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Timco.

<B>TIMCO </B>— A memorial service for Donald E. Timco, who died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011, will be at the Church of God of Prophecy at Six Points at 2 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Brent McMasters and the Rev. Richard Updegraff officiating.In lieu of flowers, donations in Donald's honor may be made to the charity of the donor's choosing.Arrangements are under the direction of the <B>H.
