Joan G. Ealy, 76, of Sarver passed away Saturday at the home of her daughter.

Born July 23, 1935, in Tarentum, she was the daughter of Cecil and Frances Schaefers Peters.

Joan was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Lighthouse Fellowship Church in Sarver.

She enjoyed church family gatherings, reading and yard sales.

Surviving are her husband, James E. Ealy of Sarver, who she married June 30, 1953; a son, James (Sue) Ealy of Cowansville; two daughters, Wanda (Frank) Smiglewski of Butler and Frances (Mike) Chaffee of Cocoa, Fla.; a sister, Betty Edwards of Sarver; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and a sister.

<B>EALY</B> — Friends of Joan G. Ealy, who died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, Saxonburg. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Lighthouse Fellowship Church, 130 Lucas Lane, Sarver, with the Rev. Richard Shick officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Airy Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice, 134 Marwood Road Cabot, PA 16023.Information also is available at www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
