Carmen Rizzi
Carmen Christine Rizzi, 18, of Zelienople passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday in Browning, Mont.
Born Oct. 23, 1992, in Ashtabula, Ohio, she was the adored daughter of Joseph and Helen (Mousetis) Rizzi of Zelienople.
Carmen was a 2011 graduate of Seneca Valley High School. During her time there, she was a member of the volleyball team and track team. She loved bonfires and family gatherings, where she enjoyed playing board games.
Carmen had a fun-loving, competitive and adventurous spirit. She was also blessed with the gift of having an inner drive and she made that evident when she earned her black belt in karate. She loved to debate, and as a result of that passion she decided to study prelaw and psychology at the Ohio State University this fall.
She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving brother, Dominic Rizzi of Zelienople; her maternal grandfather, Stanley Mousetis of Plum Boro; 11 aunts and uncles; 24 cousins; and many loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Laura and Renato Rizzi; her maternal grandmother, Alice D. Mousetis; and her stepgrandmother, Gretchen Mousetis.

Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A celebration of Carmen’s life will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople, with the Rev. William Dorner, celebrant.
