Mary M. (West) Greenblott
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Mary M. (West) Greenblott, 85, of San Francisco, Calif., who died Thursday after a brief illness.
Known as “Cissy,” she was born and raised in Butler, the daughter of Frederick G. and Mary Mildred (Schneider) West.
Mary was a longtime resident of Weston, Mass., before moving to San Francisco in 2004.
She is survived by her siblings, Winifred Ford, Frederick West Jr., William West, Nancy O'Brien, Patricia Jacobs, John West and Michael West.
She was predeceased by her husband, Hugh, and is survived by her children, Benjamin Greenblott and Sara Jane (Greenblott) Gould; and by her beloved grandchildren, Geo and Sage. Additionally, she is survived by many nieces and nephews, who will miss her.
She also was predeceased by her siblings, Bettie Jean Phillips, Dorothy Paffrath, Phyllis O'Brien, Millicent McCarren, David West and Sara Jane Sheer.
<B>GREENBLOTT</B> — A memorial service for Mary M. (West) Greenblott, who died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, was Monday in San Francisco, Calif. She will be interred with her late husband, Hugh, at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon, Mass. A memorial service celebrating her life will be in Massachusetts, and details of the service will be announced shortly.In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in her name to Sisters of Divine Providence, Attn: Patricia Malinowski, 9000 Babcock Blvd., Allison Park, PA 15101.
