P. Regina Dietrick, 83, of Butler died early Monday morning at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born March 26, 1928, in Indiana, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Margaret (Crilley) Muller.

She moved to Butler in 1962.

She was a member of the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler and the St. Paul Christian Mothers.

She was a homemaker, who greatly enjoyed reading and flower gardening. Most of all she was a very devoted mother and grandmother to her family.

Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Robert L. Dietrick, who she married June 14, 1952; six sons, Robert A. Dietrick and Jon Dremblay of St. Paul, Minn., William M. and Roberta Dietrick of Minneapolis, Minn., Lawrence J. and Ellen Dietrick of Arlington Heights, Ill., Mark E. and Mary Jean Dietrick of Mars, John C. and Annette Dietrick of Twinsburg, Ohio, and Kevin P. and Sharon Dietrick of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Christine A. Dietrick of Oakmont and Donna J. and Mike Preston of Butler; five grandsons; 13 granddaughters; two brothers, James and Joanne Muller of North Carolina; and Joseph and Dorie Muller of Indiana, Pa.; three sisters, Margaret and Stan Spence, Barbara McKee, and Rosemary and James Buckshaw, all of Indiana, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

<B>DIETRICK </B>— Friends of P. Regina Dietrick, who died Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, will be received at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler. The Rev. Steven V. Neff, pastor, will officiate. Internment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Butler.The St. Paul Catholic Women will meet at 9:35 a.m. Thursday at the church to recite the rosary.Memorial donations may be made to the Butler Area Public Library, 218 N. McKean St., Butler, PA, 16001.Regina was a kidney donation recipient that improved her life for several years, and she encouraged being an organ donor.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
