Dorothy L. Garvin, 80, of Cabot passed away Monday at Alle-Kiski Medical Center.

Born Aug. 21, 1930, in Sarver, she was the daughter of Andrew C. “Joe” Fleming and Margaret Ann McClowry Fleming.

She had worked at the Children's Rehabilitation Center and the Saxony Health Center and retired at the age of 77 from the Cabot Post Office.

Survivors include nieces and nephews; her beloved dog, Carley; and her special friend, Julie Patrick.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John “Jack” Sasse; a brother, Ralph Fleming; and two sisters, Genevieve Reamer and Mildred Maurhoff.

<B>GARVIN</B> — Friends of Dorothy L. Garvin, who died Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, will be received Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, Saxonburg. Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Emery Barnett officiating.
