I think sometimes we forget how very fortunate we are to have a hospital like Butler Memorial in our midst.

On September 3, 2011, I lost my husband and best friend of 52 years, Thomas Courson. The caring nurses and doctors did everything humanly possible to save him but it was in God’s hands.

I can never praise them or thank them enough for all the gentle care they gave him and for the understanding and support for me and my family, making everything just a little easier.

To all those dedicated people, you will always be in our thoughts and prayers.
