Girls soccer team improves to 5-0

Knoch's girls soccer team improved to 5-0 this season with a 3-0 blanking of Deer Lakes Wednesday.

Melissa Spreng, Ruthanna Leffler and Krista Burdett scored for the Knights.

Knoch plays at Burrell Friday.

Karns City 2, DuBois Area 0 — Breann Wood and Emily Olszak scored for the Gremlins (4-0-1).Alyssa King added one assist and Emily Schumacher tallied five stops in the shutout.
