Bernice Peace Campbell
Bernice Peace Campbell, 92, of Gibsonia, formerly of Meridian, passed away Sunday at The Arbors at St. Barnabas.
She was born Nov. 7, 1918, in Butler, the daughter of the late John and Caroline (Thomas) Faull.
Bernice was a member of the Meridan United Presbyterian Church, where she was in Bible study, attended Sunday school class and was a former deacon. She belonged to the Sara Elizabeth Society and was a former member of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are a daughter, Carol (Ted) Koerner of Butler; three sons, William E. (Mary Ann) Campbell of Green Valley, Ariz., Charles R. (Sue) Campbell of Longmont, Colo., and Robert R. (Shirley) Campbell of Niles, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene O. “Elmer” Barber Campbell, who she married May 6, 1938, and who died July 6, 2003; and by a grandson, a granddaughter, three sisters and eight brothers.
