McCafferty

Helen M. McCafferty, 93, of Sarver passed away Friday at Fair Winds Manor.

Born Feb. 14, 1918, in New Kensington, she was the daughter of Axel and Joanna Rhines Wall.

She was a member of the Sarver Wesleyan Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading and quilting.

Surviving are three sons, Charles “Larry” Reckhart of Cabot, Darold “Jake” Reckhart of Sarver and Ronald (Eileen) Reckhart of Cabot; one stepdaughter, Dolores “Dolly” (Robert) Lescelius of Georgia; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd F. McCafferty, in 1985; three brothers, Charles Wall, Donald Wall and Grant Wall; and two sisters, Flora Fransen and Elva Goerman.
