Dennis A. Boice Jr., 41, of Cranberry Township died Thursday afternoon, unexpectedly of natural causes at his home.

Born in Pittsburgh on Dec. 2, 1969, he was the beloved son of Carolyn Kassalen Boice of Valencia and Dennis Boice, Sr. of Butler.

He was a 1988 graduate of Richland High School and a member of St. Ferdinand’s Roman Catholic Church in Cranberry Township.

An avid golfer, Dennis was the assistant pro-shop manager at Three Lakes Golf Course in Penn Hills. He was a member of the Old Whaler League at Pittsburgh North Golf Club.

He had owned the Sewickley Car Wash in Ambridge and the Five Star Auto Massage in Avalon.

In addition to his parents, surviving are his loving wife, Karen Loscar Boice, who he married on Oct. 28, 2006; three beautiful children, Fletcher Joseph Boice, 3, and Jackson Nicklaus, 1, at home, and Victoria McKernan in Georgia; one grandmother, Emma Boice of Mars; two sisters, Beth Ann Duchon (Roger) of Baldwin and Sue Soltis (Craig) of Valencia; and several nieces and nephews.

He will be greatly missed by all.

BOICE — Friends of Dennis A. Boice Jr., who died Thursday, July 21, 2011, will be received at the

McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.A Mass of Christian burial will be at St. Richard’s Roman Catholic Church, 3841 Dickey Road Gibsonia, at 10 a.m. Monday with Rev. Thomas Sparacino, pastor, officiating.
