Richard C. Tritch, 59, of Butler died unexpectedly Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Erie, July 3, 1952, a son of the late John A. and Dolores Chris-tafano Tritch.

He was a 1971 graduate of Butler High School and proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

Rich had been employed for more than 35 years by Marmon Keystone Corp. at its East Butler location.

He was a member of the United Steelworkers Union Local 8042 and a member of the Roman Catholic Church.

An outdoorsman, he greatly enjoyed archery hunting and had been a member of the Oneida Bowhunters Club. He also was an avid golfer and bowler.

Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Carol A. Wonderling Tritch, who he married March 11, 1978; two sons and their wives, Patrick C. (Sarah) Tritch and Christopher A. (Rachel) Tritch, all of Butler; a precious granddaughter, Brooke Tritch; three brothers, John (Victoria) Tritch of Clearwater, Fla., and Robert C. (Mary Ann) Tritch and Larry (Sue) Tritch, all of Butler; a sister, Diane M. Tritch (Jim Mazzanti) of Cabot; and his stepmother, Cleo Tritch, of Butler. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, great-nephews and great-nieces.

<B>TRITCH </B>— Friends of Richard C. Tritch, who died Tuesday, July 12, 2011, will be received at <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation services are provided by Geibel Funeral Home.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
