Mary A. (Paholich) Puskarich, 89, of Butler, formerly of West Deer Township, died Monday at her daughter's home, where she had been staying the past five years.

Born July 2, 1922, in Clover, Mary lived in West Deer most of her life.

She worked at many jobs, most notably at Robertson Drapery Factory in Bairdford and PPG in Creighton.

She was a member of the Evangel Heights Assembly of God Church and most recently attended the Living Waters Community Church in Butler.

She enjoyed gardening, sewing, bowling and crocheting.

Survivors include her daughters, Rose Mary Smith, with whom she made her home these past five years, Penny (Thomas) James of Clinton Township and Georgene (Roy) Funk of Jefferson Township; her son, Matthew M. Puskarich of Clinton Township; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Matt Puskarich; her parents, Michael and Anna (Kuczmarska) Paholich; her brother, John Paholich; and a sister, Rose Young.
