Marilyn Marie Caylor
Marilyn Marie Caylor, 81, of Mars died Saturday morning at the LAS/St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.
Born in Bakerstown, June 25, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Max and Amy Cline Caylor.
Marilyn worked for the Borax Corp. for 25 years and for Duerr Packaging for seven years.
She was a member of the Mars United Presbyterian Church, the Order of the Eastern Star Mars Chapter and the Mars AARP.
Surviving are a brother-in-law, Michael Trugan. She was the aunt of Cheryl Davidson (John), Amy Rape (Jay), Nancy Woodward (Gerald), Guy Trugan (Sally), Jeff Caylor and Jennifer Miller (Martin). Also surviving are many great-nieces and great-nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Wallace Caylor (Colleen), Cecil Trugan, Margaret Fehl (Meryl) and Maxine Plunkett (Ken); and by her nephews, Kim Trugan and Michael Fehl.
Marilyn never married but always thought of her nieces and nephews as her children and held a special place in her heart for each. Marilyn lived her life through her family.
She quietly enjoyed reading and embroidery.
CAYLOR — Friends of Marilyn Marie Caylor, who died Saturday, July 9, 2011, will be received at the
McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday. Services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
