Osche

Frances L. “Finger” Osche, 86, of East Butler passed away at 1:05 a.m. Sunday at the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice.

She was born July 20, 1924, in Butler, the daughter of the late Ross “Mutt” Sylvester Covert and the late Effie (Ploof) Covert.

She was a member of the St. Wendelin Catholic Church and the East Butler Fireman Ladies Auxiliary.

She retired from the housekeeping department of Butler Memorial Hospital.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dave (Mary) Hoffman of Renfrew and Mrs. Dan (Barbara) McCune of East Butler; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Arthur Covert of California, Donald (Mary) Covert of East Butler, and Paul Covert of East Butler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Osche, who died Sept. 27, 1977; two sisters; and two brothers.

<B>OSCHE</B> — A Mass of Christian burial for Frances L. “Finger” Osche, who died Sunday, July 10, 2011, will be celebrated at 11 a. m. Tuesday at the St. Wendelin Catholic Church, 210 S.
