Support The Troops
An American Bantam Car company’s Jeep and trailer was loaned to campaign workers to transport supplies and workers across the county in the Butler County Community War Chest drive in September of 1943. Some of the girls at campaign headquarters in the Community building tried out the riding qualities of the Jeep during a short spin around Diamond Park. They are, from left, Elsie Mae Roenigk, Elsie Kelley, Lillian Mulholland, Jean Worrell, Colleen Zarnick, Elizabeth Sharpe and Helen Prokopchak.
