Groves, Edwards

Heather Groves-Edwards and Aaron Edwards, both of Butler, were united in marriage June 19 at Succop Conservancy in Butler. The Rev. Mike Loudon and the Rev. Nathan Loudon officiated. A reception followed at the Succop Conservancy.

The bride is the daughter of Merry Ann and Ed Groves of Sharpsville. Parents of the bridegroom are Tom Edwards of Butler and the late Brenda Frole Edwards.

The matron of honor attendant was Jennifer Bett of Pittsburgh. The maid of honor attendant was Karalyn Merritt of Oklahoma City, Okla.

Performing the duties of best sister was Angela Edwards of Falls Church, Va. The usher was Pete Donaldson of Butler.

The bride is a 1985 graduate of Sharon High School, 1990 graduate of Edinboro University and a 2000 graduate of Central Connecticut State University. She is employed by Slippery Rock School District.

The bridegroom graduated from Butler High School in 1995, and from Slippery Rock University in 2001 and in 2003. He is also employed by the Slippery Rock School District.

Following a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, the couple is making their home in Butler.
